Man wanted in thefts at Target stores
A man has been stealing electronics from Target stores in Fort Bend and Harris counties, investigators said.
Sugar Land police said the man stole more than $750 worth of merchandise from the Target store in the 16300 block of the Southwest Freeway in six separate incidents about 5:35 p.m. on June 6, 3:45 p.m. on June 13, 3:45 p.m. on June 18, 10 a.m. on June 23, 3 p.m. on June 29 and 12:30 p.m. on July 10.
The man has been stealing computer hard drives and radar detectors, investigators said. In each incident, the man put the items in a basket and later left the store without any visible merchandise, police said. Empty merchandise packages were later found in the store, detectives said.
The man was described as white, in his 20s with a thin build and light brown or dark blond hair. He often wears shirts with collars, khaki shorts, brown flip-flops and square-framed glasses.
Detectives said the man has a getaway driver. He has been seen getting into a dark green Chevrolet Cavalier driven by a white woman in her 20s with a thin build and brown hair.
