Man threatened employee with gun with red laser
Police need help finding the armed man who robbed a discount store in northeast Houston.
Houston police said a man walked into the store in the 9500 block of Homestead about 2 p.m. on Dec. 6.
The man walked up to the register and pointed a black handgun with a red laser at a store employee, investigators said.
The man demanded cash and merchandise, and the employee complied with his demands before being forced to go to the back of the store, police said.
Investigators said the man got away from the store on foot, but he was later seen near an apartment building in the 9000 block of Crofton.
The man was described as black, 20 to 25 years old and 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 5 inches tall. At the time of the robbery, the man was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a red watch cap.
