Raw surveillance video: 2011 business burglary

HOUSTON -

Detectives need help finding a man who burglarized a business more than a year ago.

Harris County sheriff's deputies said a man sawed through the gates of a company's yard in the 13800 block of East Westfair Drive in northwest Harris County on Jan. 28, 2011.

The man went into an unsecured building and stole a solid round metal bar containing nickel and chrome, which was valued at $2,500, officials said.

Investigators said the man also stole several threaded drill collars, containing chrome, manganese and iron, each valued at about $14,000.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the man and his white, extended-cab pickup truck. The man was described as white or Hispanic and 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall with shoulder-length hair and a black and gray beard. He was wearing a dark-colored sweater, jeans and a watch cap.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
