A man robbed a bank inside a Walmart store at gunpoint on Wednesday.

FBI officials said a man walked into the Woodforest National Bank inside the Walmart in the 3500 block of Highway 6 South about 11:35 a.m.

Investigators said the man, who was armed with a pistol, demanded cash from the teller.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the man left, officials said.

The robber was described as black or Hispanic and 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt, a hat and sunglasses.
