Man on 4-wheeler leads officers on chase

Chase on four-wheeler
HOUSTON -

A suspect on a four-wheeler led officers on a chase in northwest Houston Tuesday.

Investigators said the chase started on Veterans Memorial north of Beltway 8 shortly before 3 p.m. and ended a few miles away in the 9500 block of Maxroy at Irby, where the suspect crashed.

The suspect escaped on foot and remains on the loose. Harris County Precinct 4 deputies were searching for him.

Officials suspected the four-wheeler was stolen.
