HOUSTON -

A man was in critical condition Friday after a motorcycle accident.

Deputies said the driver crashed into the back of a vehicle around 9 p.m. Thursday as he was riding a friend's motorcycle on the North Freeway feeder over Cypress Creek.

Deputies said the driver of the motorcycle was going too fast and hit the back of a slow moving car.

He was taken to Ben Taub Hospital and is in critical condition.

The driver slammed into the back windshield of the car, sending glass into the back seat where two children were sitting, authorities said. The children are expected to be OK.
