A dock worker fell into a cargo hold at the Port of Houston on Wednesday.
Firefighters were called to the port to rescue the man at 1:30 a.m.
Investigators said a crew was unloaded items from a vessel when one of them was struck and fell into the cargo hold.
Houston firefighters used a basket to rescue the man.
He was rushed to the hospital with a head injury. His condition was not released, but his injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
The accident is under investigation.
