Man exposes himself to female neighbors
Bert Hogard hasn't seen the man, but several of his female neighbors have.
"He's just trolling the neighborhood and exposing himself to women, especially younger women," said Hogard.
To get the word out, Hogard hit the streets of his northwest Houston neighborhood and put fliers up on fences, front doors, even car windshields.
"We have a lot of single women living here," he said. "They're worried and they don't like it."
The condo complex where residents say they've seen this mystery man is in the 5600 block of Birchmont off Antoine. One neighbor snapped a photo of him on her cell phone and put that picture on the fliers; they want anyone with information on who he might be to call the police.
"It makes me very nervous and makes me wonder what's going on with people today," said Maria Perkins. Perkins said the man has done more than just expose himself.
"He was pleasuring himself for no apparent reason, just standing out there in the middle of the parking lot," she said.
The Houston Police Department told KPRC Local 2 they have received three calls in eight days from people who live in that community. One call was for a man exposing himself, the other two calls were for a suspicious person seen in the area. By the time police arrived, the man was gone.
Officers are now looking into the allegations and ask anyone with information to call Crimestoppers. The number is 713-222-TIPS.
