Houston fire investigators are working to figure out what sparked a fire that destroyed a home in east Houston.
According to the Houston Fire Department, the fire broke out just after 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the home on Rhode Island and Clinton Park.
Investigators said the fire destroyed the home and damaged a nearby garage apartment. Investigators said one person was inside the garage apartment when the fire broke out. He escaped unharmed.
There were no injuries reported.
