A freeway feeder road was closed for several hours after a man died in a hit-and-run.

Investigators said the man was walking along the East Freeway feeder road near Market when he was hit by a vehicle.

The driver didn't stop, detectives said.

Descriptions of the vehicle and its driver have not been released.
