A Houston man has been convicted of selling hundreds of fake Chi flat irons.

Eric White sold the counterfeit products online back in 2010.

Chi, which is based in Houston, issued a cease and desist letter when it found out about the trademark infringement.

When a search warrant was issued, 147 fake Chi irons were seized.

White plead guilty to the crime. He faces up to five years in prison.
