Man accused of stealing bracelets

A Harris County man has been accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of bracelets from a Houston store.
Shayne Davis has been charged with felony theft.
According to court records, Davis and another person distracted jewelry store employees while Davis reached behind a counter a removed a tray of bracelets from a display case.
The bracelets were valued at more than $12,000, according to court records.
A store manager noticed the bracelets were missing and watched the store's surveillance video. The manager said he saw a man reaching behind the counter and taking the bracelets.
According to court records, the grandmother of Davis co-defendant, found one of the bracelets and turned it over to police, leading to Davis' arrest.
