HOUSTON -

MTV has captured audiences for years with its entertaining and sometimes controversial reality shows.

Now the network has announced that it will be casting for one of those shows at Houston Community College campuses.

The Emmy Award-winning and inspirational reality show, MADE, will be holding open casting calls Thursday at the HCC Southwest College in the West Loop Center auditorium and Friday at HCC Central College, the Midtown Campus Learning Hub.

According to MTV, the show is geared towards aspiring students who want to pursue a life goal they may have been afraid to seek out on their own. With the help of an expert, the students receive professional guidance for a couple of weeks until the MADE contestant has successfully accomplished the goal.

The casting will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.

Participants must "look like" they are between the ages of 17 and 26 and be a currently enrolled HCC student with a valid ID.
