A former church volunteer has filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against Lakewood Church.

Alvaro Daniel Guzman, 26, was accused in 2010 of molesting an 8-year-old autistic boy during a children's ministry at Lakewood Church.

According to court records, Guzman was arrested in May of 2011 and charged with one count of indecency with a child. He was released on $10,000,000 bail and ultimately cleared when a grand jury declined to indict him.

Guzman is suing the nation's largest megachurch for $10 million for negligence, saying the wrongful accusation by another church volunteer and resulting arrest, damaged his reputation.
