KPRC Local 2 teams up for weather radio deal
KPRC Local 2 has teamed up with H-E-B and Academy to help our viewers get ready for the next big weather emergency.
Families can pick up a Midland Weather Alert Radio at H-E-B or Academy for a special discounted price until Oct. 31.
KPRC will donate $2.50 of every radio sold to the American Red Cross. The radios range in price from $29.99 to $49.99, depending on the model and features.
KPRC Local 2 meteorologists will be at several locations on Wednesday afternoon to help introduce the event.
- Frank Billingsley will be at H-E-B, 9710 Katy Freeway.
- Anthony Yanez will be at Academy, 21351 Gulf Freeway in League City.
- Mary Lee will be at H-E-B, 530 Highway 6 in Sugar Land.
