Judson student arrested after 2 cap guns seized from him at school
A 14-year-old South Texas boy has been accused of having two cap guns in an alleged prank on campus.
Officials with the Judson Independent School District in northeast San Antonio say the teen was arrested Monday. He's facing a charge of making a false report or alarm.
District spokeswoman Aubrey Chancellor says the student allegedly pulled a gun from his backpack as a joke. Authorities later seized two cap guns from the youth.
She says weapons charges do not apply because the guns are fakes.
Nobody was hurt. Further details on the boy were not immediately released.
The Judson ISD held classes on the federal holiday, Presidents Day.
