HOUSTON -

More than a dozen people were taken into custody after immigrations violations at two Houston-area malls, officials said.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said 14 people were arrested at The Galleria and The Woodlands malls on Jan. 23.

An ICE spokesman said all remain in custody. Homeland Security made the arrests.

According to ICE, most of the people who were arrested worked at mall kiosks and were arrested on administrative violations. All but one of the people are from Israel, authorities said.

ICE said this is an ongoing investigation, but additional arrests are not expected.
