A Houston minister is making national headlines for a letter millions are reading online.
The pastor blasted lingerie giant, Victoria's Secret.
"If you look at what's being sold and what's being marketed, it is being marketed to a younger clientele like college age, even high school age," said Dolive.
Dolive said he read that the company was launching a line of underwear and bras aimed at middle school children called "Bright Young Things" featuring underwear that reads, "Wild, feeling lucky and call me."
The minister said the company's PINK advertising campaign is after young girls.
Dolive said that made him sick, so he wrote a letter to Victoria's Secret and posted it on his website and Facebook.
Within about five days, more than 3 million people had read it online.
"I never expected to get three million hits on anything. Especially just a letter voicing my concern for my daughter," said Dolive.
Victoria's Secret issued a statement reading:
"In response to questions we recently received, Victoria's Secret PINK is a brand for college-aged women. Despite recent rumors, we have no plans to introduce a collection for younger women. 'Bright Young Things' was a slogan used in conjunction with the college spring break tradition."
According to Dolive, the company is sending the wrong message.
"Girls are not sex objects and that they can have self-worth and self-esteem just the way they are, and nothing that you wear defines who you are," Dolive said.
Dolive added the fact that the company used Justin Bieber when releasing its new product line shows that it targets a young audience.
