House severely damaged after car crashes into it
Neighbors: Driver may have suffered seizure
A driver crashed into a southwest Harris County home late Sunday, and neighbors said he may have suffered a medical problem.
Harris County sheriff's deputies said the crash happened on Western Hills Drive near Rock Canyon Drive about 11:30 p.m. on Sunday.
When they deputies got to the home, they found the car had destroyed the kitchen and living room wall of the one-story home. Bricks, insulation and even the kitchen sink were in the yard.
"Thank God they weren't sitting in the living room is all I can say ... or in the kitchen," neighbor Linda Bates said.
Other yards in the neighborhood were damaged before the driver hit the home, officials said.
Neighbors said the driver, an older man, may have suffered a seizure. He was taken to a hospital, but his condition has not been released.
