LA PORTE, Texas -

Two juveniles accused of vandalizing a high school pool have been arrested.

Shortly after 1 a.m. on July 4, police said three masked suspects broke through a series of fiberglass panels surrounding the La Porte High School swimming pool facility.

Once inside, police said the trio began throwing chairs, benches, tables and other nearby accessories into the pool. The entire event was caught on surveillance video, investigators said.

Officials said the footage of the crime was posted to the Crime Stoppers website. A tip came in, and investigators said that led them to two juvenile boys.

Investigators said the boys are brothers. The brothers named a third suspect, but officials said they don't have much to go on other than a name. Investigators said they think he may live in the Pasadena or South Houston area.

The two juvenile suspects have been charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief. If found guilty, they could be fined up to $4,000 and face as much as one year behind bars.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
