HOUSTON -

Police need help finding the person or persons who shot two men, killing one of them, in a southwest Houston parking lot.

Houston police said Silas Armando Najera-Hernandez, 23, and a 20-year-old man were shot in the parking lot of Bar Uno in the 5800 block of South Gessner near Harwin about 3:30 a.m. on Dec. 3.

Najera-Hernandez died at a nearby hospital and the other man suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives said Najera-Hernandez and three other men were listening to loud music in a pickup truck.

The four circled the parking lot a few times and parked behind a dark green SUV, possibly a Toyota 4Runner, police said.

At least one person inside the SUV then started shooting at the pickup truck, investigators said.

Police said the driver and passenger inside the SUV were both Hispanic and spoke Spanish. The driver was described as heavyset and bald. The passenger had an average build and was wearing a dark-colored baseball cap.

Anyone with information is asked to call the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
