Harvard University gives award to Pasadena animal shelter
Shelter receives Bright Ideas award
A Pasadena animal shelter is the recipient of a special award from Harvard University.
Pasadena Animal Control and Adoption received the Bright Ideas award for its partnership and pet adoption program with Bayshore Medical Center.
The honor is awarded to government programs and practices that are deemed noteworthy, innovative and promising for the future.
Only 111 agencies across the country received the honor.
Every Thursday, a portion of Bayshore's lobby is transformed into an off-site adoption area.
