A wife has been accused of killing her husband.

Dedra Jackson, 46, has been charged with murder.

Houston police said Jackson and her 22-year-old daughter got into an argument at an apartment in the 1500 block of Big Bend Drive about 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

The argument turned into a physical confrontation and Jackson's husband, Nathaniel, intervened, investigators said.

Jackson shot her husband, detectives said. He died at the scene. He was 44 years old.

Jackson was arrested a short time later.
