Police: John Charles Sharp tried to steal wart cream
A man has been accused of biting another man's finger while trying to steal wart cream.
John Charles Sharp, 50, has been charged with robbery with bodily injury.
Houston police said Sharp went to a Randalls store in the 5200 block of W. 34th Street on Oct. 19.
Sharp ate a tuna sandwich from the deli and then tried to steal two tubes of wart cream, investigators said.
When Sharp was confronted by loss-prevention employees, he began to fight and assaulted one employee, investigators said.
He bit the employee's finger, police said.
The employee suffered a broken finger, investigators said.
