HFD saves two cats from fire
Firefighters battled the fire to save the animals

A homeowner is grateful to firefighters for saving her pets.
Firefighters were called to a house fire on Westheimer and Bammel in southwest Houston Sunday morning.
When they arrived at 4:00 a.m. the house was on fire and the homeowner was outside but her cats were inside.
Firefighters found and rescued the woman's two cats.
The animals weren't inured but did receive a bit of oxygen at the scene.
No injuries were reported.
