HOUSTON -

Arson investigators are trying to figure out what started a fire that burned down an abandoned home in northwest Houston Wednesday.

Firefighters said they found heavy flames shooting from a one-story wood framed home on 32nd street and Yale Street shortly after 3 a.m.

Crews were able to put out the fire, but because the home is abandoned, investigators are suspicious of the cause.
