Good Samaritans rescue residents from raging apartment complex fire

HOUSTON -

Good samaritans helped save residents during a two-alarm fire at an apartment complex.

Houston firefighters were called out to the City View Place Apartments on Benmar Drive and Imperial Valley Drive around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

People walking on a nearby trail heard a loud pop.

A man kicked in the door of a unit to rescue a resident inside her apartment.

Four apartments were damaged.

No one was hurt.
