Giants, Patriots fans gear up for Super Bowl
Saturday morning started off dreary and ice cold, but it wasn't long before Pats and Giants fans warmed things up.
Luckily, on the day before game day, the showers tapered off quite a bit, giving visitors to Indianapolis a chance to get out and about and explore what the city has to offer.
James Paiva told Local 2, "We're going to go into the NFL Experience, walk around for a little while, enjoy the festivities and hopefully stay out really, really late tonight."
James and his brother Joe are lifelong Patriots fans, so they wouldn't miss Super Bowl 46 for anything.
We asked Joe, "When you guys decide to come see this game?"
He replied, "Wednesday afternoon and we drove down 12 hours from Rhode Island and we're here."
So we had to wonder, just how much will they spend by the time the weekend is over?
Joe answered sheepishly, "I don't want to tell my wife. That's basically what it comes down to."
The brothers are already on pins and needles anticipating Sunday night's big game.
James said, "I feel nervous, but I feel confident and if (Patriots quarterback Tom) Brady plays well, we'll win.
A passing Giants fan said, "We just have to hit Tom Brady, knock him out early and I think (the Giants) defense can get it done."
Giants fans may have come in feeling like the underdogs, but some say playing in the House that Peyton Built might actually turn into home field advantage when you're bringing little brother Eli Manning to town.
Giants fan Joe Buser said, "I am feeling comfortable passionate and dominating. This is gonna happen big for the New York Giants."
Seventy-thousand fans will be inside Lucas Oil Stadium for the big game.
A total of about 300,000 fans are in Indianapolis for Super Bowl weekend.
