Gas prices could reach $4 before summer
Middle East tensions could send prices to nearly $6.00
Gasoline -- Gas prices are going down this fall after a sky-high summer but are still nearly $1 more per gallon than this time last year.
If you drive a lot, brace yourself -- the price at the pump is about to go up.
Experts are predicting gas prices could reach nearly $4 dollars a gallon before the summer.
Analysts told USA Today prices could jump by 60 cents a gallon or "more" by May.
On average, a gallon of regular gas in Texas and Houston is the same at about $3.39.
If you add 60 cents to that, the price is $3.99.
Unrest in the Middle East could send prices even higher.
Gasbuddy.com estimates costs could skyrocket by $2.50 a gallon. That would put local gas prices at nearly $6.
