United Airlines offers two daily flights in and out of George Bush Intercontinental Airport to London. Now more than ever, these flights are packed because of the Olympics.
Before passengers even step foot on the planes, flight attendants brief the crew.
"My job is to make sure that everyone has a wonderful flight for passengers. In order to do that, I have to make sure that the crew has everything they need -- that's my main concern," said Paul Lubben, a United flight attendant.
KPRC Local 2 was granted access behind the scenes and found it takes a lot of work to get these jets ready to go. Crews do everything from prepare food carts to double check safety measures.
Many passengers on board the London flights are headed for the Olympic games.
"I had the U.S. men's soccer team on board one time, and that was a lot of fun. They sat up here and they were nice guys to chat with," said Lubben.
Flying time today from Houston to London is eight hours and 11 minutes.
