Flames shoot through roof of apartments

HOUSTON -

An apartment fire erupted in north Houston Monday.

Firefighters were sent to the Nordling Chateau complex at 5600 North Freeway shortly before 7 a.m.

Residents were evacuated from their units as flames shot through the roof of apartments.

There's no word yet on any injuries or a possible cause.
