Firefighters evacuate plant near burning warehouse

Employees at a tortilla factory were forced to evacuate as firefighters put out a fire at a nearby commercial warehouse.

Houston firefighters said the fire happened in the 500 block of Berry Road and Roswell Street around 10:50 p.m. Sunday.

Firefighters estimated 30 to 35 employees were evacuated at the tortilla factory that was adjacent to the commercial warehouse.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

No injuries were reported.
