Fire breaks out at Deer Park plant

HOUSTON -

A fire broke out at a Deer Park plant Wednesday.

Officials said the fire was reported at Oxy Vinyls, 851 Tidal Road, shortly before 9 a.m.

Plant officials said the fire is contained and a shelter-in-place was not called for.

No other details were immediately released.
