FBI officials are hoping surveillance photos will help track down a bank robber they've dubbed the "backpack bandit."
Around 10 a.m. Saturday, investigators said the crook walked into the Compass Bank in the 7500 block of FM 1960 in Humble.
Once inside, investigators said he pulled a backpack off his back and handed it, along with a note demanding cash, to a teller.
Officials said the teller gave him some cash, which the bandit then stuffed into his backpack before taking off.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
Investigators said the bandit was described as a black male, 24 to 27 years old, 5-feet 8-inches tall and weighs around 200 pounds.
At the time of the robbery, investigators said the man wore black-rimmed glasses, a black baseball cap and a black, long-sleeved shirt with black jeans.
If you have any information, you're asked to give Crime Stoppers a call at 713-222-TIPS (8477). A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered.
