A man was arrested after investigators said they uncovered an indoor marijuana growing operation at a home in the Sugar Land area.
Fort Bend County sheriff's deputies said narcotics officers had been investigating a home in the 900 block of Featherbrook for about a month. Deputies got a search warrant and went into the home on Sept. 12.
Detectives said they found 343 marijuana plants inside the home. Investigators said they also found lights, scales, water pumps, fans, invertors and other equipment used for growing and packaging marijuana.
The estimated street value of the drugs was $300,000.
Deputies arrested Justin Fonville, 32, at the scene. He has been charged with possession of marijuana in a drug-free zone and booked into the Fort Bend County Jail with bond set at $150,000.
