Volunteers search for missing man

HOUSTON -

The search for a missing man got extra help from Texas EquuSearch.

The organization sent out volunteer search teams Thursday morning.

Houston police said Kriston Livings, 41, was reported missing on Jan. 3. He was last seen by a family member Dec. 22 in the area of Crosstimbers and Yale Street in northwest Houston.

Houston police said they are not ruling out foul play in his disappearance, but the investigation is in the early stages.

Livings' family is understandably distraught.

Livings' mother has something to say to the person who may know something.

"I would like them to think about themselves. How would they feel in this position and if they know anything, heard anything, let me know," Delores Livings said.

He has three children between 11 and 15 years old. Livings' sister said the past few weeks have been difficult.

"I really think somebody has done something to him because this is totally unusual. He has never done this before," Karol Livings said.

Livings was last seen wearing blue jean shorts, and a black sweater with writing on it. He has a tattoo of the world "Delores" on his ankle.

EquuSearch set up a command post at Garden Oaks Baptist Church, 3206 North Shepherd Drive.

If you've seen him or have any information call HPD at 713-731-5223.
