A woman has been accused of stealing from the store where she worked.

Tara Cheri Armstrong, 20, has been charged with theft.

Armstrong worked at the Kohl's store in the 7100 block of East F.M. 1960 in Humble.

Harris County sheriff's deputies said they were called out to the store by a loss-prevention officer on Jan. 14.

Detectives said Armstrong stole jewelry worth nearly $21,000 in November.

Investigators said Armstrong told them that her boyfriend is a drug dealer and he told her to steal the jewelry.

Kohl's has fired Armstrong.
