HOUSTON -

Emergency management coordinators tested 11 digital billboards ahead of hurricane season.

Clear Channel Outdoor is offering the billboards for free. They will be used in Harris, Fort Bend, Brazoria, and Galveston Counties.

The billboards will inform drivers about a hurricane or tropical storm.

Officials from for the four participating counties were on hand Monday to display the billboards.
