Investigators need help finding a driver who ran over a man and left him to die.

Harris County sheriff's deputies said Natividad Hernandez, 89, was walking eastbound in the 12900 block of Beaumont Highway about 7:30 a.m. on Thursday.

The driver of a commercial vehicle, possibly a truck with a flatbed trailer, hit Hernandez and kept going, detectives said.

Hernandez was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.
