A woman, accused of drunk driving, rammed into a gas pump at a service station in north Harris County.

The crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Raceway station on FM 1960 and Imperial Valley Drive.

Deputies said the woman was traveling at a high rate of speed when she slammed into one of the gas station's pumps.

The pump was dislodged, but did not leak, police said.

Investigators said the woman attempted to flee the scene, but was quickly apprehended.

The woman was charged with driving while intoxicated and fleeing the scene of an accident.
