A man died Sunday when his truck crashed into a pond, Houston Police said.

Police said the truck was speeding on Freehill and Kurland when it hit a curb and crashed into a pond at around 10 a.m.

A witness saw the crash and was able to get the driver out of the truck, but could not pull him out of the water, according to police.

Police did not immediately identify the body.
