A man is recovering after a major accident in Jersey Village on Thursday.

Police said the driver was speeding on Jersey Drive near Jeaneau when his vehicle hit a parked car. The impact caused the driver's car to flip.

Jersey Village police said officers found the car upside-down. Only the driver was inside the car. He was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

Police said he was intoxicated and will be charged with driving while intoxicated. His name was not released.
