Police: 3 suspects on the run

A man and a woman were robbed while walking their dog Saturday night, investigators said.

Galveston police said it happened around 11:50 p.m. at the intersection of 33rd street and Avenue Q 1/2.

Officers said two men and possibly a juvenile, armed with a gun, approached the 43-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman.

The couple handed over their cellphone, $45 in cash and credit cards, authorities said.

Police said no one was injured, but the robbers managed to get away.

Detailed descriptions of the robbers have not been released.
