Two Harris County sheriff's deputies were taken to a hospital after a collision on Tuesday evening.
The sheriff's department said the deputy and his partner were on Stuebner Airline, going to help with a chase.
A car did a U-turn in the middle of the street and the deputies hit the car head-on, investigators said.
The deputies had to be pulled from their patrol car and were taken to Northwest Medical Center. They are expected to be OK.
The chase the deputies were headed to eventually ended on Veterans Memorial and West Road.
