Deputies: Murder suspect commits suicide
A man accused of killing his wife has committed suicide.
Montgomery County sheriff's deputies said Thomas Quinlan, 58, was arrested on Dec. 30 after his 56-year-old wife, Donna, was fatally shot in their home on North April Waters in the April Sound subdivision.
The shooting happened when the couple argued shortly after returning home from a cruise, investigators said.
Quinlan was released from the Montgomery County Jail on Jan. 3 after he posted $500,000 bond. An order was issued, prohibiting Quinlan from going to his home.
Shortly before 10 a.m. Thursday, April Sound security officers called deputies because Quinlan went to the home.
Deputies went to the home and discovered that Quinlan was the only person inside the home. Investigators said they were not able to make contact with him.
SWAT officers later went into the home and discovered that Quinlan had died from an apparent self-inflicted wound.
According to Thomas Quninlan's LinkedIn account, he founded InkJet, Inc., with $35,000 and "as a current net worth of a good 8 figures and growing yearly."
Donna Quinlan was listed as an employee of InkJet.
