What a great time for football fans in Southeast Texas! The Houston Cougars had an undefeated 12 and 0 regular season! The Sam Houston Bearkats were also undefeated through the regular season and playing deep into the NCAA playoffs. And for the first time in 18 years, Southeast Texas fans are on track to see professional post-season football!

Joining host Khambrel Marshall is the radio voice of the Houston Texans, Mark Vandermeer, to talk about the Texans' incredible season and the chances for post season success.

An even bigger singular event will take place in Houston the weekend of Jan. 14 and 15 as Houston hosts the 2012 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials for men and women on Saturday, Jan. 14. The top finishers of those races will represent the United States in the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Joining Khambrel are Houston Marathon managing director Steve Karpas and executive director Wade Moorhead to talk about the $50 million infusion the trials bring to Houston and the challenges of running the trials on Saturday and the 40th Houston Marathon on Sunday.
