Deadly fire in southwest Harris county

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -

A man was killed in a fire in southwest Harris County, according to authorities.

Firefighters said the fire started in the back bedroom of a home on Jupiter Drive and Remus Drive Friday afternoon.

Firefighters were able to put the fire out quickly.

The Harris County Fire Marshal's Office and Sheriff's Office are investigating.
