HOUSTON -

A Houston father has been accused of possessing child pornography sexually assaulting two children.

Mark Storemski was living at a motel this summer while going through a divorce. His estranged wife called police after two young family members, an 8-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy, visited him there.

The kids told police that Storemski sexually assaulted them, investigators said. They also said they had seen photographs of other children in the room.

"During forensic interviews, both children disclosed they had been sexually assaulted by the defendant," Harris County Assistant District Attorney John Wakefield said. "Also during those interviews, there was the disclosure that on a computer in his room where abuses happened, they had seen pictures of pornography -- of naked people."

Houston police said they used a search warrant to seize two computers from Storemski's room. The officers said they found more than 12,000 digital photos of child porn on two computers. They said there were so many files, it took months to comb through them.

One of the children allegedly told police Storemski had camera set up in his room when she was sexually assaulted.

"During an interview with one of the children, there was disclosure that pictures had been taken of her, and with that aspect the investigation is still ongoing," said Wakefield.

Storemski has been charged with four counts of sexual assault of a child and three counts of possession of child pornography.
