Melt one stick of butter in a 9x13 pan.
Mix the following ingredients together and pour over butter.
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 Tablespoons cocoa
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2/3 cup milk
Mix 1 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of cocoa and sprinkle over mixture. Top with 1 1/2 cups boiling water.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or more (make sure middle is done).
