A construction project on a busy Houston freeway could cause problems for motorists this weekend.

Multiple lanes will be closed on the North Freeway while crews work on bridge repairs.

Two southbound, outside lanes are scheduled to be closed from Parker Road to Little York from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.

A third lane will be closed between 9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday.

Police will be there to direct traffic, but you may want to find an alternate route to avoid delays.
